AUTISM NI SUPERHERO WEEK!
AUTISM NI SUPERHERO WEEK
From 5th – 9th February Autism NI are holding a Superhero week – to get across the message that being autistic is actually a superpower!
As we have two Autism Specific Classes in St Brigid’s PS, we want to join in to help raise awareness of autism in school, home and in our local community.
To take part each pupil will be given five Superhero Tasks to do at home, then on Friday 9th Feb our school will hold a Superhero Dress-Up Day with each pupil coming to school dressed as their favourite Superhero and during assembly/class they will receive their Superhero Status (certificate and badge). Each child will receive a Superhero pack to take home with a Superhero Tasks Wall Chart. We ask that families do not go to huge expense to purchase superhero costumes – homemade cloaks or face paints are just as good!
Thank you for supporting Autism Superhero Week.
