The boys and girls in St. Brigid’s had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day!
We started the morning with a reading assembly followed by an amazing costume parade. It was so much fun getting to see all our friends in their favourite book character costumes.
BBC Live Lessons took place at 11am followed by some fun quizzes on the Junior Newsdesk.
In the afternoon the teachers moved to a different class and read a story. Everyone was so excited to find out which adult would enter their classroom at 1:15pm!
Well done to all our pupils for taking part in today’s activities and a big ‘Thank You’ to parents for putting in so much time and effort with helping the children dress up.
