The 21st March every year is recognised as a special day as people around the globe celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. In Primary 7 we rocked our odd socks, had a special visit from Carla Duggan and we even wrote a letter to local MLA Emma Sheerin to voice our concerns about the lack of services and support for those with Down Syndrome.
We learned so much yesterday and say a special ‘Thank You’ to Carla for taking time out of her day to come and talk to us. 🟡🔵 🧦 🧦
