Chairman of Mid-Ulster District Council, Sean Mc Peake visited our Primary 7 pupils today. He explained about the features of the new Council crest, how it includes aspects of Cookstown, Dungannon and Magherafelt. It also incorporates the Sperrins and Lough Neagh and the county symbols of the Red Hand of Tyrone and the Oak Leaf. Primary 7 really enjoyed finding out about the Council and are looking forward to visiting the Council chambers.
