Our School Council met with the Chairperson of the Education Authority (EA) Mr Barry Mulholland today. He was very impressed by their Class Council minutes, showing their dedication to working for the good of all children in the school. Members asked Mr Mulholland if he could arrange for St Brigid’s PS to get a new school building. He replied that unfortunately a new school was not in his remit. The children also requested that EA would provide more money for schools to buy playground equipment and that perhaps we could have more school holidays. We thank Barry Mulholland for taking time to talk to our school council today, and we are so proud of our wonderful school councillors. Well done boys and girls.
The Governors, Staff and Pupils of St Brigid’s PS wish Mr Mulholland a long, happy and healthy retirement as he finishes his post in December 2024.
