Everyone in St. Brigid’s P.S is so proud of one of our Primary 3 pupils who was a mascot for a Champion’s League match last Wednesday night. Our pupil accompanied Athletico Madrid player Rodrigo Javier de Paul to the pitch. What a wonderful experience for this young football fan and we are so proud of how he appeared on television. The match ended in a 2-2 draw and unfortunately lucky mascot Cillian was not so lucky for his player, as Rodrigo was sent off in the 82nd minute! Although, as an avid Celtic fan, we reckon Cillian didn’t mind too much!
