Easter Arrangements
Dear Parent,
Pupils will go home at 1pm on Wednesday 13th April to begin their vacation - returning on Monday 25th April for Term 3.
On Wednesday 13th the School Council have organised a Dress-up Day for Ukraine, where pupils are asked to donate £1 and dress up in Ukrainian colours - blue and yellow. We ask that families do not go to extra expense of buying new clothes, simply add a ribbon, hair bobble, or any item that is blue/yellow to represent the cause. Our aim is to raise £300 to help this humanitarian crisis. There will be no Ulsterbus service, but other providers will operate at 1pm.
On Wednesday we will also have our Easter Egg Raffle for Fr Magill's missionary work. Every year our Primary 7 pupils donate an Easter Egg and children buy the tickets priced at 20p or a strip of 5 tickets for £1. As we have 46 Primary 7 pupils there are a number of Eggs available for each class raffle! In addition to buying tickets for this great cause, we ask that you keep Lavey native Fr Neil Magill in your prayers.
It is a great opportunity for our children to think of others less fortunate than themselves, however, we are fully aware of the high cost of living facing all of us at this time, so only donate what you can. We wish everyone a happy and holy Easter.
