Everyone really enjoyed their sponsored fitness session with Freddy. Each class had a session with Freddy in our largest playground, and all the poor residents in Hall Lane probably had to wear ear defenders, as they too could hear the loud, thumping music. We are pretty sure that no one in Mayogall got a nap this morning as Freddy had everyone dancing and moving to the children's favourite pop music.
Each participant got a certificate and prizes for the best dancers.
We have raised a lot of money for school funds - just over £2,000 with some donations still coming in! Mrs O'Kane presented awards to our highest fundraisers; the best class award went to P1/2. It is such a delight that our highest individual fundraiser is a new Primary 1 pupil. Thank you to everyone who contributed - your generosity will buy lots of new toys for our children.
Primary 7A will have a separate day for their fund-raising event (details are still top secret.....)
