Congratulations to our Girls’ Gaelic Team who were winners at the Saint Canice Dungiven Football Tournament!
In the group stages the girls were up against Glenullin, Claudy, Dernawflaw and Dungiven. The girls won 3/4 games, which earned them a place in the quarter finals.
After beating Swatragh, the girls played Dungiven in the semi-final. Two brilliant performances were put in, and the girls progressed to the final!
The final game was against Dernaflaw, who had previously beat us in the group stages. The girls were excited and nervous, but kept their heads in the game. They put in super performances all over the pitch, and the hunger and determination paid off as they came out with the win.
Well done girls, we are all very proud of you!
