We had a magical day in school as we celebrated our national patron’s feast day.
Pupils showed their talents in singing, dancing, playing tin whistle and even telling jokes. In addition to showcasing individual talents, there was lots of audience participation, as pupils joined in the chorus of favourite songs with great gusto. “Rattling Bog” was particularly popular, and we are grateful that P6 pupils held up prompt cards to help us get all the items in order!
Thanks to Mrs O’Neill for her hard work in support of the children, her preparation and creativity were exemplary. Thanks to Miss Cassidy for preparing the Irish Dancers and thanks to student teachers Miss O Kane and Miss Doyle for teaching tin whistle.
Our wonderful St Patrick’s Day Celebration ended with a rendition of Hail Glorious St Patrick, well done everyone and enjoy your holiday. ☘️☘️☘️☘️
