Yesterday our hurling team travelled to Meadowbank for the South Derry CNB Indoor Hurling Championship. The boys played 4 games with the top 2 teams in each section progressing into the County Finals on 5th March.
The first game was a tough match against St Brigid's Tirkane with a narrow 2-1 win. After that the boys won their next 2 against Moneyneena and Gaelscoil na Speirni.
The last game of the group was between top two teams, ourselves and St Columba's Straw. After another very intense game the boys scored a goal just before the final whistle to win 2-1.
Well done to the boys and good luck in the County Finals.
