Well done to our Primary 6 and 7 girls who represented St Brigid’s today at the Indoor Derry Camogie Finals.
In the group stages the girls faced Kilrea, Dernaflaw and Ballerin. After a few battles the team qualified for the semi-final against Dungiven. After a tough 7 minutes the two teams couldn’t be separated, and the girls eventually went on to beat Dungiven by one goal after 3 minutes of extra time.
In the final the girls faced a strong Kilrea team. They showed great skill and teamwork, however they were unfortunately defeated after 7 minutes.
St Brigid’s are proud of how well the girls represented themselves and the school in this competition and we wish Kilrea Goodluck in Ulster.
