Today our P4 pupils made their First Confession in Our Lady of Mercy Church. This was a joyous occasion and the children did so well. We are indebted to Fr Graham and Fr Harkin who made everything run so smoothly.
Thanks also to our P4 teacher Mrs Quinn who prepared the children so professionally (as always). Thanks to our amazing music team - Mr Sean Scullion, our music teacher on piano, Miss Clara Quinn our assistant on flute, and Miss Kate Quigley our singer. Kate is the P4 Classroom Assistant, who drives down from Derry each day, we applaud her hard work and her unique talent.
We hope that the P4 children said their Penance when they got home; they were to tell their parents that they loved them - hopefully everyone remembered! First Confession has been recorded on the Lavey Parish webcam. This is password protected and the password was sent by school text to P4 parents this morning. The recording will remain on the website until Friday evening.
