Our Primary Seven pupils enjoyed a wonderful day of celebration following their Confirmation.
The day stated at An Carn with the Fanzini Brothers- a fun show of circus acts. The children really enjoyed the audience participation and were cheering and joining in with great enthusiasm.
Pupils were then treated to a delicious lunch in Walsh’s Hotel. If this were an online review, we would certainly give Odhran 5 stars! Thanks also to proprietor Kieran Bradley for the discount on our bill. (St. Brigid’s people are everywhere!)
We then moved onto the Movie House Cinema where we watched ‘Epic Tails.’ It was a wonderful movie and the children certainly enjoyed munching on their popcorn!
The admission cost £5 per person, and this was paid by P7 parents who wish to remain anonymous. Thanks to the lovely mum and dad who paid for our cinema trip plus a £50 donation towards our food. We are very grateful.
So today was highly enjoyable for all our P7 children (and staff). We appreciate the generosity shown to us by everyone who values our school.
