P7 Craft Fair
Huge congratulations to every single Primary 7 pupil and to all the talented staff who support them. In class they have been learning how to run a successful business. These important life skills were taught as part of the Junior Entrepreneur Programme. After their market research the P7's decided to hold a craft market in the school Assembly Hall. The children made all the products for sale which proved so popular that they ran out of stock half way through the afternoon!! Unsurprisingly the red and white Derry headbands were a very big hit amongst the savvy shoppers! In addition, they raffled a signed Derry Jersey (donated by St. Conor's College) and tins of sweets donated by Mr Niall Convery (Convery Repairs and Services).
Due to the generosity of our pupils and parents, we raised a staggering £674.75 of which every penny will be donated as soon as possible to Fr Magill for his missionary work in Myanmar.
