Primary 1/2 have been learning all about ‘Under the Sea’ in their World Around Us topic.🐠🐙
We have investigated sea creatures and things we can find under the sea. Primary 1/2 discovered that some things sink to the bottom of the sea so we decided to investigate why!
Today we carried out a Floating and Sinking investigation. We made predictions, tested objects from around the classroom and sorted our results- we were very surprised at some of our findings.✏️
We then designed our own pirate ship flags and wrapped up some coins to make shiny treasure. We all enjoyed testing our ships to see if they could float or if they sank to the bottom of the ocean.
