Today, Primary 6 took part in the ‘I’m a Scientist’ workshop. This is a student-led STEM enrichment activity. It connects school students with scientists through energetic real-time chats.
Primary 6 have been looking at the work of different inventors and scientists throughout history. Prior to taking part in the chat, Primary 6 studied the scientist profiles and were able to discover a bit more about them. Today they had the opportunity to ask these scientists a range of questions, based on topics within science that interest them.
Pupils were able to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts and really enjoyed the experience of voting for their favourite scientist. 🧪 👩🔬
