Dear Parent,
We have a number of staff on duty each morning to ensure the safe arrival of children to school. However, a number of children are arriving late, when there is no adult outside to let them in through the gate to FS or in to their classroom door.
School doors have access controlled keypads, recently we had a child standing outside at 9.30am who could not get into their classroom, fortunately the child was spotted by an adult from another class.
IF YOU ARRIVE AT SCHOOL AFTER 09.15 YOU MUST ENTER VIA THE FRONT DOOR AT RECEPTION AND AN ADULT WILL ESCORT YOUR CHILD TO THEIR CLASSROOM.
Pupils in P3 and P4 must not go in through the Fire Exit door of their class.
Any child who arrives after 09.15 is marked as late in Registration.
In St Brigid's we are doing everything we can to maximise the safety and wellbeing of all our children, so please ensure that your child is not late for school.
