Well done to our Girls’ Gaelic team who participated in the Sharon Donnelly football blitz today in Glen.
In the Division 1 group stages the girls played Holy Family PS Magherafelt, St Columba’s PS Kilrea, St Mary’s PS Glenview and St Mary’s PS Greenlough. Throughout the group games the girls showed excellent work rate in midfield, fantastic defending and our forwards produced super scores!
We placed second in our group which meant we were through to the semi-final of the cup. In the semi-final we met a very determined Derrychrin team. The girls battled hard but unfortunately it wasn’t our day. Congratulations to Derrychrin who went on to win the memorial trophy.
