Dear Parent, 2020 has been a difficult year for all of us. So this year, we request that you do not buy gifts for the staff of St Brigid's PS. We have always loved receiving your presents, and in Lavey your generosity is exceptional, and your creativity amazes us. So regretfully, we ask that you do not spend your money on us. Due to Coronavirus, we are limiting the movement of items between home and school, so rather than expect gifts this year, we ask that you donate instead to the St Vincent de Paul, Family Appeal.
If you wish to do so, please put some money in an envelope, marked SVP Christmas Angel, each classroom has a box in the room, where the money can be stored, until Friday 18th December when it will be given to the St Brigid's Conference of St Vincent de Paul, Lavey. The money raised will be used within our own Lavey community to support families in need.
Thank you for all the gifts we received in the past, they still make us smile and often act as reminders of past pupils. But in 2020, give the gift of hope to a family in need, through the excellent work of St Vincent De Paul.
