Congratulations to our Netball team who were crowned Tri-County Champions today for the second year in a row. This tournament occurs annually and this year a total of 10 schools took part.
The girls remained unbeaten throughout the day with wins against Phoenix P.S (7-2), Woods (4-1) P.S, Cookstown P.S (4-2) and Orritor P.S (7-0).
With a total of four wins in the first round, the girls progressed to play Woods P.S in the final. It was a very tight match with both teams extremely determined to win. The girls remained at the top of their game, scoring an amazing 3 goals and securing a win overall.
The group of Primary 6 and Primary 7 girls played brilliantly today. Miss McAlister is so proud of our Netball team and commented on their excellent teamwork and dedication to achieve this result. She was also very impressed with their positive attitudes and great sportsmanship by cheering on the other teams.
Well Done Girls, you are amazing!
