Dear Parent,
Today a further 5 staff are absent from school due to illness. Hopefully, (if the situation does not deteriorate overnight), we have enough staff to manage tomorrow Thursday 10th February with those classes currently in school. Some classes may be supervised by student teachers or classroom assistants.
At this stage, after careful consideration of all the safety factors, we have decided not to open on Friday 11th. Therefore, pupils will go onto their mid-term break at the end of class tomorrow. P1/2 will go home at 2pm, P3-7 will go home at 3pm.
NOTE - MENU CHANGE: Dinner tomorrow will be Chicken Nuggets and Chips, with yoghurt and fresh fruit.
Thank you for your support at this time. We wish all those staff who are ill, a full and speedy recovery. It is our fervent wish that school will return to normal on Monday 21st February and that everyone has a safe and enjoyable mid-term break.
